Soilence is a Finnish company building nature based solutions for greener, more resilient cities. We started from a simple idea: good natural materials should not be wasted, especially when cities are struggling with heat, drought, and stressed soils.

We work with underused natural sidestreams and turn them into practical products for urban green infrastructure. Our focus is soil, because soil is where water is stored, roots grow, and urban nature either thrives or fails.

Today, we are developing Soilence, a patent pending soil solution for green infrastructure. Soilence is a regenerative material designed to improve moisture stability in soil, reduce erosion, and support the long term vitality of urban ecosystems. It is made to perform in real conditions, not only in theory.

We believe urban greening should be built with materials that make sense for the climate, for the soil, and for the future. That means avoiding unnecessary synthetic inputs and reducing the need for resource intensive virgin materials whenever possible.
